Leading with values.

Grady Britton was overdue for a website redesign so we were challenged with how to present the agency digitally. Each stakeholder had different priorities and purpose for the website, which made user flow and hierarchy a high priority. After a deep dive, we agreed that we should lead with our values because it was the core of every decision we make. However, we still needed to elevate other parts of the agency’s story and serve it up in a seamless way. I designed a user experience that leverage a Reactive framework to tell Grady Britton’s story in an intuitive and cohesive way.

  • We started by interviewing the stakeholders and team leads of the agency and asked them how the website would impact their work. Next, we reviewed the current website’s Google Analytics to determine which pages had the best KPI’s. After that, we did a SWOT competitive analysis to find key features that would make us stand out.

  • After performing a full content audit of the existing site and pitch deck, I formulated a content strategy plan that elevated the three main pillars of our agency; our mission, our work and our people. From there, Joey and I brainstormed ideas on how to make the website feel dynamic, yet deceptively simple to the user. I presented a prototype to the team that showcased a website navigation built around a traditional carousel hero. As you browse through the carousel, the relevant content would preload below, ready for you to scroll down.

  • Our new website saw a 184% increase in user time on site, a 36% decrease on bounce rate and all primary pages saw an increase in views, over the first 3 months after launch.
