Chào, my name is Ethan.

I’m a Vietnamese-American user experience design director living in Portland, Oregon. I was born in Saigon and immigrated to America when I was six years old—thanks to sponsorship from 3 uncles who paved the way as refugees. I grew up in the ho-hum suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas, and got my college education in Austin. That’s where I began my design career and learned to keep it weird. Then, cooler weather and greenery called me to set roots in the Pacific Northwest.
